The key ingredients for this transformation are healthy flora, a toned colon and water. Magically, our waste then converts into a perfect package to move on its way and return to whence it came. However, if something along the route is lacking, then the pass isn’t complete and we’re stuck with the ball and no yardage gained. Eventually we get tired of playing the game and we sit down on the bench.
After our insides are refreshed we have an opportunity to rebuild a strong offense to better elimination. Exercise, whole foods, acidophilus (good bacteria), water and a healthy outlook on life will lay the foundation for good days ahead. This list seems daunting at times of stress and we look for a short cut. Caffeine, laxatives and sugar all jiggle things around, unfortunately they have limits and shortcomings. Caffeine kills good bacteria, laxatives weaken the colon and sugar feeds bad bacteria like fish. Of course there are degrees to indulging and herein lies the key to navigating through our lives with well being and not constant storming. Once we have the remembrance of internal tides we can make our decisions with confidence. It takes practice in listening to our bodies and deciphering the signals. For example we hear our heads talking…, “I’m felling gassy and bloated and I’ve been under a lot of stress. All I want is ice cream and a nap. What could this mean?” Perhaps you need to rest, eat more vegetables, take a walk in the woods, get a Colonic and start taking acidophilus! Every little thing counts and we don’t always have to be 100%. The trick seems to lie in recognizing when we dip below the appropriate range for our selves, and then to choose something to bring us back up to speed. Colonics are just another tool in the bag for support.
Colonics are not a “New Age” procedure, they have been in existence as far back as the ancient Egyptians. Even Lewis and Clarke were schooled in the use of enemas to combat ailments along their expedition. And before the advent of antibiotics, Colonics were used in hospitals. Water is the source of all life and is our ally in times of stress and struggle. Colonics help us come back into balance with our most vital self.
